About Us

To learn and spread awareness about ecological issues in New Jersey and the world. This includes issues that impact the oceans, rivers and the life they support. 

We aspire to preserve and expand local aquatic life. 

I am Ava Bowley, a 9th grader who lives in Rumson, New Jersey. My extended family is from Hawaii, and I travel there often and journal about eco issues impacting island life. I am an environmental researcher and advocate as well as the founder and producer of https://turquoiseplanet.org/ and https://avaecocast.com/ and travels around the world reporting on and working to preserve and rejuvenate our global ecosystem.
